July has come to a close and with it, another successfully session of the TMEF® SME Business Talk 2018 – Sabah and Sarawak Edition has come to an end. This edition of the event was specially catered for the SMEs in Sabah and Sarawak, covering Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan, Tawau, Sibu, Miri and Kuching.

The event began in May and this year’s edition was focusing on business talk in relation to delivering towards digital and industry 4.0. This year’s event was just as successful as the last, in fact even more so as the SMEs flocked towards the event in droves, all eager to discover and walk away with new knowledge about the latest developments on the digital front. Digital is the way of the future, and this event was focused on preparing SMEs as much as possible to cope with the changes in the industry.

Businesses need to stay ahead of the latest developments so their business can remain relevant in their respective industries.

The TMEF® SME Business Talk 2018 featured important digital insights that will help SMEs reshape the digital capabilities of the SMEs, ranging from breakthrough technologies for businesses to transform into smart offices, to impactful solutions for SMEs to embrace the new industrial digital transformation.

During the TMEF® SME Business Talk 2018 session, SMEs were exposed to what the current digital solutions were, and how best to stay relevant in their respective business fields. The participants of the event were encouraged by TMEF® to engage and make full use of the networking opportunities which were made available to them. SMEs even received consultation directly from the speakers who were present during the event.

Booths were present at the back of the event for every industry expert that was involved in the event to serve the participants. Any SME who needed consultation or business solution suggestions welcome the addition of these booths and many were seen keenly engaging in sessions with the speakers.

Government bodies like the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia, Ministry of Youth & Sports, Sarawak State Government, Ministry of International Trade & E-Commerce Sarawak, SME Corporation, KPDNKK, Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia and MARTRADE were the endorsers of this event.
