Habit #1 – Are You Visualizing?

It may seem silly, and feel a tad awkward at first, but believe us, visualization works! Visualization is the process of developing specific mental images in your mind of what you would like your desired future to be. If you’ve always dreamed of being an entrepreneur, you’re technically already halfway there. By visualizing what you want your future to be, you will motivate yourself tremendously by reminding yourself of that fervent desire why you started on this journey in the first place. Picture it, see it, feel it, taste it in your mind’s eye. Imagine the situation and see it so clearly it could be real. It can dramatically increase your chances of success, trust us.

Habit #2 – Remember Your Passion

If there is one thing an entrepreneur absolutely needs, it’s passion. Without passion, achieving greatness would be nearly impossible. Passion, desire the love for what you’re doing is one of the most powerful motivators you could possess within you, and it can be a force so powerful it will drive you to do anything it takes to realize your dreams. If you aren’t passionate about it, what incentive is there to keep doing what you’re doing?

Habit #3 – Remembering to be Grateful

If you’ve watched a lot of speeches or YouTube videos of some of the world’s most successful individuals, there is a recurring theme which takes place in all of them. They’re grateful. The ability to be genuinely grateful for what you have and the opportunities you have been given increases you chances of achieving the goals you have set forth for yourself. Whether they be daily goals, weekly, monthly, short-term and end goals, gratitude is the one that increases your chances of accomplishing them. Why? Because you’re so grateful that you have the opportunity to do it. Not everyone is blessed with that same opportunity you have been given, so appreciate every moment.

Habit #4 – What Is Your Why?

Why did you decide to take the plunge and become and entrepreneur? Why are you doing everything that you’re currently doing right now? Do you have a concrete answer for those questions? You need to. It simply isn’t enough to want to be an entrepreneur just because you wanted try it. No, you must have a why, and you must know why it matters so deeply to you. Only then will you be able to find the strength to persevere through any challenge that comes your way, and rise to each one saying bring it on! Instead of why am I doing this again?

Habit #5 – Starting Off on the Right Foot

Make it a habit each morning to start it right. Every day is a brand-new day, a new chance, and a new opportunity to seize the moment and make it the best that you can. Starting things off the right way in the morning, is a good way to start. Don’t have a morning routine? Make one. Start each day by having a reason to leap out of bed energizes, stretch out your body, take deep breaths and feel grateful for each one, make a list of the things you need to do today, set mini goals and kick butt!

Habit #6 – Keeping Track of Your Progress

The best way to feel motivated to keep going is to track your progress. Why? Because it allows you to see just how far you have come. Tracking your progress visually lets you see that you have indeed made progress and come a long way from where you first started out, so whenever you feel drained, tired or feel like you need a dose of motivation, take a look and your progress chart and look at how much you have accomplished.

Habit #7 – Affirmations, Affirmations Everywhere!

When you’re constantly bombarded with something, it becomes difficult to ignore. That’s the approach you need to take with your affirmations. Affirmations are the motivational drivers that remind you of what you set out to do and what you need to accomplish, and if they are everywhere all the time, it becomes difficult to ignore. Write down your goals, reminders, motivational quotes or anecdotes on post-it notes, and stick them everywhere. And we mean everywhere! Around your home, your office, your car, your mirrors, all the places that you frequent on a daily basis. Stick it, read it, remember it.

Tip #8 – Shake Up Your Routine Once in A While

Doing things repetitively can become mundane after a while, no matter how much you love what you’re doing. We all need variety in our lives to keep us on our toes, and keep things interesting. If you feel like your routine could use some shaking up, then do it if it helps you achieve your goals better. Break the monotony, try something new, experience something you haven’t before, and come back refocused and recharged back on track once more.
