KUALA LUMPUR: NanoMalaysia Bhd welcomes the launch of the MyDIGITAL initiative as it will further strengthen and elevate the sustainable development of the digital economy.

This is done by providing a collaborative platform and market demand for digital solutions developed and deployed by local digital technology startups and small and medium enterprises (SME) both in the form of devices and system as well as software encompassing programmes and artificial intelligence.

"This will in turn, place Malaysia on the correct trajectory to becoming a high-tech producer nation underpinned by the innovated and produced locally and deployed everywhere else' model," NanoMalaysia chief executive officer Dr Rezal Khairi Ahmad said in a statement today.

NanoMalaysia's REVOLUTIoNT programme under the 12th Malaysia Plan provided a head-start towards Phase 3 and helped to jumpstart the country to invest in connected nanotechnology-enabled digital devices and systems in the form of Internet of Nano Things partnering with local universities, startups, SMEs and end-users.

Strongly aligned to the aspirations of MyDIGITAL, this programme aims to assist digital entrepreneurs to further scale up their activities which will in turn, provide more jobs and foster an environment of increased visibility for startups and SMEs.
