KUALA LUMPUR: E-commerce services provider for trade facilitation, Dagang NeXchange Bhd (DNeX), this morning begun implementing a new merchant development programme for small and medium enterprises (SME) on its eMarketplace for the halal industry, the Global Halal Exchange (GHX). The merchant development programme is aimed at providing relevant assistance and support for anchor tenants of the GHX to further grow their business. "Our merchant development programme is a strategic partnership where we work with our anchor tenants who are predominantly SMEs to grow their business to the global market through the GHX eMarketplace," said DNeX executive deputy chairman, Datuk Samsul Husin at the launch. "We will also be providing such assistance as marketing, business insights and ideas to the participating SMEs." The GHX, which was first launched in 2014 aims to provide access for merchants and business listings to the US$2.3 trillion global halal market.
